Maybe I just don't get it. I saw the new product release from Apple and thought, who's that for. I must be getting too old. A two gig media player is just a big flash mp3 player, no? I still like a player that I don't have to make music decisions about. I have a 40 gig player I like and it can hold my music colleciton today, though I suspect 60 gigs is in my future.
The way I see it, is that I don't want to decide what music I am listening to today, but then again I am in my mid-thirties. Size isn't that important to me.
If I had to beg for a feature, it would be one that would keep my MCE mp3 collection in sync with my mp3 player's list whenever I dock.
Now that's a feature the XBox 360 doesn't have ;)
I flew out today to Seattle to worship at the alter of Bill. I usually don't like in-flight movies, and I never thought I'd like Bridget Jones movies, but they got one this very right. In "Bridget Jones 2", they have this fight between two men who both are not adept at physical confrontation. There is no brawn, there is a lot of running away and falling down...the most realistic fight scene I've seen ever on film (with apologies to Raging Bull).
As a huge Family Guy fan, I am happy and sad. I waited until after the Super Bowl and watched this show which comes from the twisted mind of Seth MacFarland. I am happy because the show was quite good, but it was only a tease. The show doesn't really start until May. Sad : (
I haven't gotten chills listening to an album in over ten years. Listening to Ray Charles sing with B. B. on this last album of Ray's before he died completely blew me away!
I've never been the biggest Ray fan or even much R&B, but lay down a blues track with two of the best that ever sang into a mike is pure bliss. I remember now why I started playing guitar twenty eight years ago...and why I miss it so much when I forget to stop working.
I heard about this site on a recent .NET Rocks! show. Very very cool...if you like to find dumb things that developers do...
